We
talked again
Today my friend.
You laughed at what I had to say.
The prospect of marriage,
A good Godly man
Some children and family.
To hear a child call you "mommy"
A Spirit-filled husband
A marriage filled with God's blessings.
There will come a day my friend,
Do not laugh.
You will want it for you.
You will see our friends,
Married some thirty years,
You will see their love
They have it still
Unending
Agape
You will see how she looks at him
Look into her eyes
She is like a new bride.
He still holds her
Still thinks she is more beautiful
Than any woman
I bet their hearts
Still skip a beat
When they see each other
You will see their love
Is shared in God above
Do not laugh
You will want it for you
I know you will
Because I want it for me.

Ecclesiastes 9:9 Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest
all the days of the life of thy vanity, which He hath
given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for
that is thy portion in this life, and thy labour which
thou takest under the sun. |
