Forget What's Behind

This is actually a song.

When I think of how I've sinned against my Lord
I know I am unworthy to partake of His Word.
He tells me there it's all by grace that He has brought me in;
I am predestinated, I am a part of Him.

So I forget what's behind, all the sins of my past;
Pressing toward the mark of the one thing that will last.
Jesus is coming, I'll strive until that day
The capstone falls and the Bride is called away.

And although I know how much He will forgive
To please my Lord I want to be clean each day I live.
But little sins we all commit put condemnation in my mind;
Satan wants to keep me off my knees, and so again I find

I must forget what's behind, all the sins of my past;
Pressing toward the mark of the one thing that will last.
Jesus is coming, I'll strive until that day
The capstone falls and the Bride is called away.

So forget what's behind, all the sins of your past;
Pressing toward the mark of the one thing that will last.
Jesus is coming, so strive until that day
The capstone falls and we are called away.

arkPhilippians 3:13-14
Brethern, I count not myself to have apprehended; this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things
which are before,
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
